Built on Compassion. Driven by Community. Focused on Stability.

Moore Open Hands Cari Open Hearts (MOHCOH) is a Metro Detroit community ecosystem dedicated to restoring dignity through action. We connect Housing Services, In-Home Care, Workforce Development, and Reentry Support into one coordinated network designed to stabilize lives and revitalize our neighborhoods.

We believe that challenges cannot be treated in isolation. By integrating these critical services, we don’t just provide temporary relief—we rebuild the systems that allow people to thrive.

Our Mission

Restore Dignity. Build Stability. Strengthening Communities. We empower Detroit through transitional housing, compassionate care, job training, and neighborhood revitalization initiatives. Every service we deliver is a deliberate step toward long-term independence and opportunity.

A Note From Our Founder

“In my own journey through workforce transitions, I learned that talent often exists long before opportunity arrives. Many individuals are not underqualified—they are simply under-connected to systems that match their full potential.

MOHCOH was created by Alexius Moore to bridge that gap. Whether you are a displaced worker, a returning citizen, or a student, our mission is to ensure your skills are seen, utilized, and connected to the right pathways. Detroit has always been a city of reinvention, and we are proud to continue that legacy by building systems that turn potential into progress.”
